About

Built so artists can just create.

We started LongRange Music because the people who make music spend too much of their time on everything that isn’t music. We wanted to take all of that off their shoulders.

WHY WE BUILT IT

The business side shouldn’t be the artist’s problem

For as long as anyone can remember, the song and the business behind it have lived in two different worlds. The music goes one way. The credits, the splits, the money go another, into contracts and spreadsheets and inboxes. That gap is where credit gets lost and people stop getting paid what they’re owed.

We close that gap. The people who made the track, and what they’re owed, become part of the track itself. So it stays true no matter where the music goes.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

The artist should hold the original

We believe a creator shouldn’t have to trust anyone to remember who made the work or to divide the money fairly. The music itself should carry that truth. That’s the whole idea behind LongRange Music.
